Foxwoods Resort Casino announced the income from the slot machines in August. Unfortunately, the authorities have noticed a slight decline in the revenue, compared to the sum, announced this time last year. August brought the Casino an income of almost $49 million, which is 3,3% lower than August 2013. This year, the total income for the month was approximately $2 million lower than 2013’s.
Scott Butera, the President of the Casino, said that despite the minor decline, August was a relatively successful month for the Foxwoods Casino. Although the situation with the slot machines revenue is not as good as it should be, the other fields of the business are undergoing significant development and great steps forward.
Foxwoods has contributed to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund with the sum of $12 million.
