france_flagFrance didn’t succeed in staying away from the chaos in the gambling industry round the globe. A few days ago, a meeting between the President of the local regulator and poker players was set obviously because the players are not quite content with the situation they are in.

Now, the French gambling industry faces another setback. The Judicial Police has performed an operation in Cercle Cadet – one of the widely recognised French gambling rooms and took several people into custody.

The operation was carried out early in the morning and according to the information, released in the media, the gambling room authorities were accused in misusing company’s funds and fraud. Plus, inconsistency in the employment matters was found.

Today’s operation is not the first of its kind. Only a month ago, another French gaming provider, that is popular all over the world, was investigated. The French Judicial Police found many irregularities, concerning the activities of Aviation Club de France, and the room was suspended in the middle of September for an uncertain period of time or while all the violations are figured out.

The same scenario can be found in Aviation Club de France as well. Twelve people arrested and accused of money laundering, fraud and personnel exploitation.

No announcements has been made by the DCPJ’s spokesperson about the last operation yet. The exact number of people, arrested as well as the financial penalties imposed to Cercle Cadet, are not certain too.

However, an anonymous source revealed that 14 people have been put under arrest, including Serge Kasparian, the President of the company, as well as other authorities who play a key role in managing the gambling room.

The operation has been carefully planned for more than one year. The French police authorities opened an investigation last summer and their aim was revealing crimes, concerning money laundering, frauds and blackmailing.

Herve Robers and Serge Tournaire are believed to be the judges, in charge of leading the investigation to a successful outcome.

Judge Serge Tournaire is said to be a prominent expert who has a vast experience in dealing with complicated gambling issues and crimes. He has already worked on an identical case and bearing the evidence in mind, took the decision of closing two popular gambling rooms.

Meanwhile, the employers of Aviation Club de France have been organizing events on daily basis since October 12th and they want to draw public’s attention to the issues, that led to the closure of the room, and raise citizen’s awareness about the devastating effect this decision has had. The employers want to continue working for the company and the gambling room to be opened until enough evidence is gathered and all the accusations turn out to be valid.
