That’s what the owner of the platform, the professional poker player Phil Ivey, announced via the social networks.

Ivey Poker was launched at the beginning of the year and Phil Ivey was hopeful that it will become widely recognized and preferred by amateurs and professionals alike. Phil Ivey himself is a player who takes pride in winning the gold bracelet in WSOP ten times. Despite the legal issues that have befallen him, Ivey is still a prominent poker player who has outstanding skills and impeccable poker strategy. Gambling pros commonly describe him as “the best poker player alive”.

Ivey left a comment on his page in the social networks and said that during the last ten months, he and his assistants have became familiar with some important aspects of running a successful website and one of them was that the dedication and loyalty of the players was a key factor in establishing a successful gambling platform.

That’s why Ivey hurried up to assure them that the closure of the website will not continue for too long and at the beginning of the next year players will be given the chance to enjoy the renovated platform and all the great features it offers. Phil Ivey added that his team will work relentlessly for creating something that would be appealing to players. All the skills, acquired over the last ten months, will be put into practice so the users should be prepared for a pleasant surprise. The end of the announcement stated that “the best is yet to come”. Ivey expressed his gratitude to everyone who has somehow been involved and contributed to achieving the current results.

Ivey’s representatives confirmed that 2015 will be the year when the players will witness the great expansion of Ivey Poker. A few days ago a video was published on the website and according to it, new tutorials will be added while the renovating procedure is taking place.

Although Ivey tried to inform as many players as possible for the closure, a number of resentful comments can be seen of the official pages of Ivey Poker in the social networks. Angry players keep asking why they are denied access to their accounts and how they can get back the money they have invested.

Despite the great promises, made by Ivey and his team, some of the poker players were not convinced that things will go according to Ivey’s plan. Christian Harder, for instance, commented that the chances for Ivey Poker to remain available for players are pretty slim. Plus, he claims that the poker experts, involved in Ivey’s project, were not paid for that. Jennifer Harman, Dan Smith and Phil Shaw were among the coaches, responsible for, as the slogan says, “Teaching the World to Win at Poker”.
