BEVAND2Several online poker platforms have recently decided to stop sponsoring poker players because they have realized that the venture doesn’t bring the expected revenue. PokerStars terminated the contracts of many poker pros and it seems like Winamax will follow suit. The authorities have decided to part ways with Manuel Bevand, also known as “manub_”. They have been working in collaboration for almost six years.

Bevand announced that his final decision is to exit the poker industry after nine years of participation in various poker tournaments. He also added that he has devoted all his time and efforts to improving his poker strategy but he realized that the poker game is too demanding and in order to win tough competitions he had to sacrifice too many valuable things.

The contract between Winamax and Bevand will be officially terminated at the beginning of next month when he is supposed to take part in the last live poker tournament in his career as a professional poker pro. Bevand will participate in the European Poker Tour, that will take place in Prague.

Nevertheless, the contract termination made Bevand quite nostalgic. He commented that being a part of the Winamax team provided him with a lot of opportunities to travel and make friends but now the adventure is about to be over. The poker pro said that at this stage of his career, what he needs is to start something new that could allow him to gain control over his life and stop bothering himself with tiresome preparations for tournaments. Yet, he was not going to give up on playing online poker, which remains his passion for a lifetime.

Bevand has been recognized as a professional poker pro for more than nine years and he can take pride in winning several tournaments and adding a considerable amount of money to his bank account. During the years, he has proved himself to be one of the prominent French poker players and his strategy and extraordinary skills were appreciated not only by the authorities of Winamax but also by all poker experts who happened to witness a poker game in which Bevand participated.

The total amount of winnings, Bevand has earned during the six years partnership with Winamax was estimated to be more than $700, 000.

Bevand shared that he was not going to be a part of the community of the professional poker pros anymore but he was not intending to abandon his plans about playing poker on a regular basis and visiting London in order to put his plans, concerning poker and technology, into action.

Several fellows of the poker star shared via the social networks that his presence will be missed.

Ludovic Lacay, who is a member of Winamax and a close friend of Bevand, wished him best of luck in his future endeavors; Davidi Kitai thanked him for everything he has done for the well being of the team.
