Heartland Poker Tour, the tournament that is nationally televised, is going to add another stop to the list, concerning the tournament schedule next year.
It was announced that during the nationwide tour, Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, located at Reno/Tahoe, will play host to the prestigious event that attracts hundreds of players from all over the US.
The tournament is supposed to kick off at the end of January 2015. It will finish on Feb.9th and the Final Table will be broadcast on the TV.
The Heartland Poker Tour has been held for ten years. During 2014, winners shared prize pools, equal to more than $12 million.
As far as the series at Grand Sierra Resorts are concerned, they will provide players with an abundant choice of tournaments they can take part in. The buy-ins are expected to start from $140. A great number of qualifying events will be available and each one of them will give the players a chance to participate in the Main Event that will be nationally-televised.
However, players have another alternative as well. They can opt for buying into the marquee tournament. The prize pool is determined by the number of players who would like to take part in the tournament. Up to now, the winners used to get decent cash prizes.
