DSC_0198_968x648Yesterday, those who are impatient to visit the luxurious property that is going to be established in the capital of the Philippines – Manila, were delighted to know that during Phase 3 of the project extra gaming space will be added.

That was the official information, released by representatives of the two companies involved in the project.

Apart from extra gaming space, the representative of Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. confirmed that number of hotel rooms in Phases 2 and 3 is also to be increased.

In order to meet the requirements of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., the project needs to be compatible with their criteria and the licensing formula they apply.

According to it, the number of gambling facilities that are legally allowed to be available on the premises, depends on the number of hotel rooms offered by the resort.

A report issued at the end of 2014, shows that PHP6 billion or more than US$134 million have already been spent on installing amenities and planning upcoming extensions of the casino resort.
The amount of PHP260 million is intended to cover corporate purposes.

Travellers International is a result of the collaborative efforts of two companies believed to be leaders in the gambling industry on a global scale – Alliance Global Group Inc. and Genting Hong Kong Ltd.

Apparently, their venture for establishing a casino resort in the Philippines is a successful one. The first phase of Resorts World Manila opened doors for visitors five years ago and it can take pride in being an appealing gambling hub. In addition, investing in such huge projects is beneficial to country’s economy.

A few months ago, the luxurious Bayshore City Resorts World project was started and it is supposed to open doors sometime in 2018.

According to the details released yesterday, Phase 2 Resorts World Manila will include sports and dining facilities, parking lot a ball room and a convention center.

The planned expansion consists of the following: Maxims Hotel is to be extended. Hilton Hotels and Resorts and Starwood Hotel and Resorts will be in charge of the properties.

Apart from the hotel extension, the establishment of a parking lot is also included. Needless to say, there will be an area designed to accommodate the gaming facilities and shops that are to be available for players and visitors.

As announced by Travellers International representatives three months ago, Phase 3 of the project is scheduled to open sometime in 2017. Up to now, PHP2.7 billion have been spent on the Phase.
