The event that was won by Gill started on Monday. Forty-six of the best mixed game players in the region took part in the competition and fought for the gold ring. At the end of Day 1 five players only remained in the contest, including the Chairman of Brighton FC Mr. Tony Bloom.

Tony Bloom proved himself as one of the top contenders for the first place. He managed to beat the Australian Van Marcus in order to enter the gold five at the contest’s final table along with Sam Khouiss, Mikal Blomlie, Jonas Mackoff, and of course, Oliver Gill.

Mr. Bloom was the chip leader of the final table. During his previous participations in Ausie million he has successfully added $1,6 million to his bank account.

Blomlie and Mackoff were the first to leave the final table after being ranked 4th and 5th respectively just to put the start of the fierce three-handed battle between Gill, Bloom and Khouiss, which lasted for several hours. As revealed by a reputable media, which reported the contest live, the battle between Khouiss, Bloom, and Gill lasted nine hours but after all Bloom managed to beat Khouiss.

Bloom was lucky to get cards, which helped him double through Khouiss, who was left astonished and a bit later was also outdrawn by Oliver Gill. The hand of Seven Card Stud, which belonged to Bloom, left Khouiss behind to occupy the third place.

However, Khoiss’ exit from the battle left Bloom and Gill in an one-on-one fight for the first place. Oliver Gill had a two-to-one advantage into heads-up play against his opponent, and it did not take him long to emerge victorious from the battle getting his first gold ring from the contest.
