Actually, local communities were not too excited about the establishment of a new casino. They flooded the social networks with disapproving comments and asked if the area really needs that casino.

Apart from the entertaining aspect, the Brisbane casino project is believed to be really beneficial to the local economy. No matter which will be the investor given authorities’ permission for building the casino in question, Brisbane residents will be given an opportunity for career growth.

The Brisbane area has been trying to deal with the high unemployment rate for a long time. The tendency for increased youth unemployment rate particularly worrying. During the previous year almost 16% of young Brisbane residents failed in taking up a job.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though. Both investors that are trying to receive a license for the Brisbane casino, offer hundreds of career opportunities.

In case Echo is the company awarded a license, there will be six properties to open doors in the Queensland region. What is more, Echo officials dared to show a bit of confidence that they will be allowed to build the Brisbane casino.

A few days ago, they announced that they are going to work in collaboration with TAFE Queensland. What made them sign such an agreement is their desire to have prepared and trained workers, who will be immediately available and ready to start working provided that Echo is given the license.

In case Crown Resorts is the company allowed to build the Brisbane casino, the number of job opportunities will be sufficient as well.

Those who keep themselves informed with Crown’s initiatives, know that they have their own “Crown Colleges” and thoroughly train their employees. Currently, they have colleges in Melbourne and Perth but they promised to build one in Brisbane in case they are granted the rights for the Brisbane project.

Geoff Hogg, Managing Director of Echo Entertainment Group Queensland, said that Echo and TAFE were going to “jointly train the next generation of Queensland tourism and hospitality staff”.

He also added that trainees will master the skills necessary for providing excellent customer service.

Mr. Hogg said that if his company gets the nod for the Brisbane casino, a hospitality school will be found since once the project is completed, approximately 8000 workers will be needed for the six hotels proposed.

Rowen Craigie, CEO of Crown Resorts, announced that Queensland will have its Crown Hospitality College found provided that company’s consortium wins the bid. Crown is planning to build three hotels.

In order to accomplish all challenging goals, Greenland Crown will work together with the FOGs and the Broncos.
