The popular gaming company Paf has started a new venture and it is about to work in collaboration with Sunborn – a Finnish hotel company, on a casino project in Gibraltar.
The future casino will be located at Ocean Village Marina aboard the floating Sunborn Hotel superyacht.
The name of the casino will be “Casino Sunborn”.
For the time being, Gibraltar gambling authorities have not granted permission for the establishment of the venue yet. However, people familiar with the matter, believe they are still reviewing the proposal and they are to announce a final decision soon.
If everything goes according to the initial plan, the venue will open doors for visitors sometime in April.
Casino Sunborn will provide players and guests with top-class facilities. There will be at least 60 slot machines. Roulette tables and table games are also to be available.
Apart from the gambling amenities, visitors will have the chance to stay in stylish guest rooms, enjoy the fine cuisine offered in the restaurants or relax in the spa area. Guests who would like to mix business with pleasure are enabled to use the modern conference center.
Anders Ingves, a Chief Executive Officer of Paf, commented on the the joint venture of the gaming company and Sunborn and said that it is an indication that Paf’s officials are determined to conquer the European gambling market.
The establishment of a land-based casino is an excellent opportunity for Paf to expand its business by signing contracts with online gaming operators. In addition, Paf has considerable experience in the gaming business, while Sunborn is a company that has vast knowledge and consolidated positions in the international hotel sector.
The result of their joint efforts will be, by all means, impressive and visitors are to be provided with world-class dining and gambling experience.
The establishment of the Sunborn Casino will provide local residents with a chance for career growth. Permanent staff positions will be opened.
Hans Niemi, an Executive Director of Sunborn, also commented on the casino project and said that Sunborn officials are glad to have such a reliable partner as Paf. He said that both companies are prominent ones and have all chances to turn their casino into a profitable and attractive one.
Time will tell what is going to happen but if the first project is successful, Niemi revealed that there might be many more in future.
