Earlier today, Boylesports, an independent Irish betting operator and provider of various other gambling options, announced that it will close its offices on the territory of London. This is due to the fact that the company is about to move its major operations in a Gibraltar-based hub in the months to come.
The announcement came after the operator had its operations completely and thoroughly reviewed.
Boylesports released a special statement in which it said that it had decided to close its London-based offices and to move its key operations in Gibraltar, which is gradually turning into a hub for providers of online gambling solutions.
The London offices of the company were opened back in June 2013. They were located in the cosmopolitan area of Bayswater in the West End of London and were established so as for the company to be able to consolidate its positions on the UK gambling market more easily.
The operator’s London offices were managed by chief marketing officer James Arnold. However, he left the company back in November 2014, after it was confirmed that Boylesports was planning to move its marketing business team in Gibraltar.
At present, the company is in the process of finalizing discussions over its license with the Gibraltar gambling regulator. Once everything is settled, Boylesports will be allowed to relocate its iGaming and sports betting operations from Alderney and the Isle of Man to Gibraltar.
The gambling operator also pointed out that it will probably open its new offices in the so-called Leisure Island Business Centre in the Ocean Village resort. At first, as many as twenty employees will work in the new place. More people will be hired, once Boylesports figures out how it will expand even further its operations across the United Kingdom.
As already mentioned, apart from its sports betting services, Boylesports provides various other gambling options. Back in 2004, the company launched its poker platform, which now features frequent tournaments, live coverage of poker events, giveaways, etc.
