The expansion of the popular bookmaker UK William Hill is a fact. From tomorrow onwards, the bookmaker will be officially available on the Australian gambling market as it is about to have its Sportingbet.com.au rebranded.

Company representatives hurried up to provide all affected sides with detailed information and ensured them that the entire process will go smooth and according to the initial plan. All existing customers of the platform will be migrated to the new website named WilliamHill.com.au. As for the new players who are yet to create an account, they will be enabled to sign up as well.

Back in March 2013, William Hill acquired Sportingbet Australia including Cantrebet, and a few months later the bookmaker obtained TomWaterhouse.com as well.

Soon after the acquisition, the former Chief Executive of William Hill Plc, made an announcement and shared executives’ plans for Sportingbet.

Mr. Ralph Topping, said that they are working towards the aim of becoming even more popular company that offers a wide variety of betting options compatible with different mobile devices.

As a matter of fact, the acquisition of Sportingbet was made as a part of company’s strategy for expanding its online business and entering competitive gambling markets.

As for the above-mentioned platforms, Cantrebet and TomWaterhouse, they will be rebranded as well at a later stage.

The CEO of William Hill Australia, Tom Waterhouse, commented on the rebranding procedure and said that the entire process is extremely exciting to everyone engaged in it. The rebranding process itself will make it possible for three brands that have already consolidated their positions on the local market to be transformed into one of international importance and popularity.
