Casino News Daily has always aimed at providing its readers with the latest news and objective analyses from the casino industry. We are particularly interested in the way online gaming develops and this is why we have asked representatives of some of the biggest providers of online casino solutions about their opinion on the matter.
Here is our latest interview with Adam Kalmanson, Head of Acquisition at Omni Casino, an online casino, which was established back in 1997 and is known to be one of the first of this kind. Mr. Kalmanson shared with us his thoughts on the constantly developing online casino industry and his company’s plans for 2015.
Do you think there is an upward trend in the number of players who access your products via their mobile devices?
Most definitely. The industry (as well as the world) as a whole is moving in that direction. We see that now a good percentage of our traffic is accessing our casinos via a mobile device, whether that be a tablet or smartphone. This is why we’re focussing on launching a brand new mobile product in the future to cater to our player demands.
What are your strategies for attracting more customers online in 2015?
There is so much in the pipeline for Omni and Fly in 2015 I’m almost not sure where to begin. First, our flagship brand which has been around since 1997, Omni Casino, is being given a full makeover to bring it in line with other modern offerings and to give our highly valued players a much better playing experience. Naturally our excellent customer service and quick withdrawal times which have given us an outstanding reputation amongst players for the better part of 20 years won’t be affected. As mentioned above, we will be launching a great mobile product to allow us to access the vast majority of mobile gamers out there. We are also re-launching our affiliate program, Focal Click, which will allow us to better tap into the vast network of affiliate sites which is a key acquisition and growth tool. It will have a new design, user friendly layout and an efficient back end to really fulfil every affiliate’s need. This is just the tip of the iceberg for Omni and Fly and 2015 is sure to be a very exciting year ahead.
What do you consider as a main challenge for the online casino industry in 2015?
I think a major challenge for the online casino industry is staying relevant in an age where there are so many quick fixes and alternatives for players to turn to whether it’s social media, gaming or technology innovations. We as an industry have to stay at the forefront of technology and meet the standards of increasing legislation in order to satisfy the demands of a highly distracted player base and retain their business.
Are you planning to expand your business in any of the regulated markets in 2015?
At the moment we are just looking to expand in our current geographical areas with the exciting new products I’ve mentioned above.
Have you been considering the opportunities for new partnerships in 2015?
We are always open and looking for new partnerships and 2015 is no exception especially considering all we have on offer right now. Our focus is new partners in Canada, South Africa and Australia and we are considering carefully our opportunities for expansion in these areas.
What is your opinion about the latest regulations on the UK gambling market and how are these affecting your business so far?
Currently, Omni and Fly casino are not in the UK market. We made the decision not to enter as the market was never such a strong focus for us and therefore it hasn’t affected us that much. Who knows what the future will hold, but I’m sure at some point we will look to re-enter the UK scene.
