The popular digital entertainment company NetEnt is about to have a new director. Mere hours ago, company’s Nomination Committee proposed Jenny Rosberg to be appointed as a member of the Board of Directors.
Currently, the Board of Directors consists of seven people but the Nomination Committee recommended new valuable assets to be added to NetEnt. In point of fact, the members of the Committee suggested the current directors to be re-elected.
For the time being, Mikael Gottschlich, Michael Knutsson, Fredrik Erbing, Pontus Lindwall, Peter Hamberg, Maria Redin and Vigo Carlund take the key positions within the company and the latter was recommended to be re-elected as a Chairman of the Board of Directors. If approved by NetEnt officials, Jenny Rosberg will also be among the directors of the company.
Vigo Carlund commented on Ms. Rosberg’s appointment and said that her experience would definitely take NetEnt to new heights. Ms. Rosberg has been taking various management positions over the last 25 years. She also has a considerable experience in working for international companies where her business skills were highly appreciated, too. Ms. Rosberg is also a founder of ROPA Management Ltd.
Mr. Carlnd added that he was impatient to start working together with Ms. Rosberg and join their efforts towards making NetEnt even more successful provider of digital entertainment producst and services.
Speaking of Jenny Rosberg’s biography, she used to work for NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. where she took the position of a Senior Vice President and was responsible for company’s ventures in Europe. In addition, she was a deputy Chief Executive of NASDAQ OMX Nordic Ltd. She also played a key role in the stock exchange affairs of NASDAQ in Helsinki, Copenhagen and Iceland.
