Evolution Gaming, an internationally recognized provider of various video-streamed Live Dealer gaming solutions, announced that it will power PokerStars Live Casino. What is more, PokerStars will be the first ever licensee of the company that will go live with the so-called Immersive Lite, an HD multi-camera studio installation.
The PokerStars Live Casino studio in Riga offers a total of nine gaming tables and it could be said it is the largest area of this kind, developed by Evolution for any of its licensees. All the tables in the area will be served by live dealers with specially designed uniforms that feature the PokerStars logo, familiar to players and industry personalities from around the world.
Immersive Lite was launched during this year’s ICE Totally Gaming conference. The solution was introduced as a variation of Immersive Roulette, one of Evolution’s most successful products. Similarly to Immersive Roulette, Immersive Lite features several HD cameras, which are positioned around the dealer and the table. Thus, players are presented with live gaming experience and are able to follow every aspect of the action. Developers also pointed out that the Live Casino area has been customized to perfectly meet the demands of the PokerStars players.
Sam Hobcraft, who is taking the position of Director of Casino for Rational Group, the company which owns PokerStars and which was purchased by Canadian gaming operator Amaya back in 2014 , shared that they wanted to provide their players with something really special and this is why they decided to add Live Casino to their site. Mr. Hobcraft said that a lot of money was invested for the purpose and so far, he is pleased with the results. He also promised that they have managed to create a product that will certainly exceed their customers’ expectations.
Sebastian Johannisson, Evolution’s Head of Account Management, commented on PokerStars’ investment as a proof that the operator is happy with the quality and confident in the success of Evolution Live Casino.
This latest announcement was preceded by the introduction of PokerStars.es Live Casino, which took place in Spain on February 3. The service is streamed from the Ruleta En Vivo studio, located at Gran Casino Murcia. PokerStars said it did not miss the opportunity to make use of the dedicated environment options that Evolution offers.
The operator became the first one to change the custom bluescreen backdrop of Ruleta En Vivo and to create its own PokerStars interface.
