NetEnt Entertainment, the popular supplier of gaming products and services in a wide number of countries, has been making the headlines with the accomplishments it achieved back in 2014 and during the first months of 2015.
The latest milestone was that NetEnt got the approval of the UK Gambling Commission and from now on UK-based customers will be able to use company’s products.
Because of the new regulations that came into force last year, NetEnt operated on the UK gambling market under a temporary license but company executives announced that the UK Gambling Commission has granted operating and software licenses.
The approval comes at a time when NetEnt is attempting to expand its business but NetEnt’s CEO, Per Eriksson, noted that the UK gaming market has always been a top priority for them since it is essential for their further growth. Mr. Eriksson also pointed to the importance of promoting responsible gaming and said that it was one of the conditions under which their licenses had been issued.
Meanwhile, the company has successfully completed several profitable, long-term deals.
Mere days ago, NetEnt signed a contract with CODERE – said to be the most reputable gambling company in Spain. According to the clauses the contract contains, NetEnt will provide a wide number of games to CODERE’s online casino.
The agreement was regarded as the first step NetEnt took towards consolidating its positions on the Spanish gaming market and being enabled to deliver a full range of gambling services within a few months.
Another important contract was signed between NetEnt and Gamesys. Under it, Gamesys as well as the other websites it manages, will be provided with slot games developed by NetEnt.
Speaking of further expansion of NetEnt’s business in Europe, the contract signed with Danske Spill is also worthy of mentioning. In other words, NetEnt casino games are already available on the regulated Danish online gaming market.
As far as NetEnt’s performance during the previous year is concerned, market analysts define it as a successful year during which a number of profitable agreements had been signed. Apart from that, last year will be remembered with the development of the “Invisible Man” – the first slot game to be available on common platform for computers and mobile devices.
NetEnt has also released a report about its financial performance during the fiscal year 2014 and according to the data released, the results outpaced expectations.
