This week, the WSOP is set to return with a tournament in Council Bluffs, the WPT will stop in Montenegro and Johannesburg, and Nottingham’s Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club will be open for everyone who wants to enter the UKIPT £1,100 Main Event. Here is a list of the most exciting events that are to take place this week and some important information about them.
2015 WPT National – Montenegro II
Action has already started at the Splendid Conference & SPA Resort in Becici, Montenegro. The three-day €1,100 Main Event with guaranteed prize pool of €150,000 is scheduled to kick off on April 9. Apart from it, the tournament will also feature several No-Limit Hold’em Hyper Turbo and other events.
The buy-ins start from €120 to €1,100 for the Main Event.
2014/2015 WSOP Circuit – Horseshoe Council Bluffs
Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs, Iowa will play host to the tournament, part of the 2014/2015 WSOP Circuit. It is scheduled to kick off on April 9 and to continue up to April 20. The tournament will feature a total of ten No-Limit Hold’em events, an Omaha Hi/Lo one, and several others. The two-day $1,675 Main Event is to begin on April 17.
The buy-in fees start from $250 for the special Seniors Event.
2015 $100K Spring Weekend Guarantee
Wynn Las Vegas will host this tournament between April 9 and April 12. It is to feature a four-day $400 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000.
2015 WPT National – Johannesburg
The tournament will take place between April 10 and April 19 at Emperors Palace Hotel Casino in Johannesburg, South Africa. Players will be given the opportunity to enter various Pot-Limit Omaha and Texas Hold’em events. The three-day Emperors Palace WPT National Championship kicks off on April 17 with the final table set for April 19. The buy-in for this particular event amounts to R11,500.
Players will have to pay between R1,200 and R36,500, in order to be able to enter any of the other events.
2015 UKIPT – Nottingham
The tournament is to feature a six-day Main Event as well as other related No-Limit Hold’em events. The Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club will once again play host to it.
The £1,100 Main Event will have a total of four start days and is scheduled to kick off on April 12. Day 2 is set for April 18 and the final table is to take place on April 19. Entries will have the opportunity to win a guaranteed prize pool of £1 million.
As mentioned above, the tournament will also feature several other exciting events such as the £3,200 High Roller and the £330 Nottingham Cup one.
