China, the United States, Italy, and Canada will host some of this week’s most exciting poker events. Here is a bit more information about the major tournaments that are to kick off between April 13-19 and where and when exactly they are to take place.
2015 APPT Season 9 Nanjing Millions
The city of Nanjing is the next stop of this year’s APPT. The tournament is to start on April 14 and will feature a series of No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-in fees between CNY1,000 and CNY9,000. The CNY3,000 APPT Nanjing Millions kicks off on April 14. It will have a total of three start days. The nine-handed final table is scheduled for April 18.
The major tournament will be held at the Wutaishan Sports Centre.
2015 Spring Poker Open
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, one of Atlantic City’s emblematic casinos, will play host to the 2015 Spring Poker Open, with the WPT Championship being part of it. The tournament is to kick off on April 14 with a five-day $560 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. Players will have the opportunity to enter a wide variety of other exciting events, as well.
The tournament’s highlight – the five-day WPT World Championship – is set to start on April 25 and the final table will take place on April 29. The buy-in fee for this particular event is $15,400.
2014/2015 WSOP Circuit – Harrah’s Cherokee
The WSOP will next stop at Harrah’s Cherokee Hotel and Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina for a ten-day tournament starting on April 16. Players will have the opportunity to enter a number of No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events. Special events such as a $250 No-Limit Hold’em Seniors one with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 and a $250 No-Limit Hold’em Ladies one are also to take place.
The $1,675 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000 is scheduled for April 24.
2015 WPTDeepstacks – Edmonton
The eleven-day tournament will take place in Casino Yellowhead in Edmonton, Canada and is to start on April 16 with a No-Limit Hold’em C$50 Bounty event. Buy-ins start from C$250.
The C$1,100 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of C$200,000 will take place between April 24-27.
2015 WPT National – Venice
The Gioco Digitale WPT National Venice is to kick off on April 17 with the final table set for April 20. The event will be hosted by Casinò di Venezia. Players will have to pay €990 in order to enter it. They will also be given the opportunity to take part in other exciting events.
