Isaac Haxton – This Week’s Biggest Online Winner

The online poker stage was quite action-packed over the past seven days. Apart from the Spring Championship of Online Poker, which is currently taking place, one of the biggest highlights was American player Isaac Haxton winning more than $300,000 online and thus, offsetting last week’s loss of $114,885.

To be more precise, ‘Ike Haxton’, as he can be spotted on PokerStars, won a total of $310,463 in 1,197 hands over 19 sessions.

Dong ‘Donger Kim’ Kyu, who won $217,612 in 1,338 hands over 6 sessions, ‘BERRI SWEET’, who won $193,578 in 1,299 hands over 24 sessions, and ‘ringosnuff’, who won $167,733 in 534 hands over 18 sessions, were the other big winners over the past seven days.

Haxton was first spotted on PokerStars under the screen name ‘Ike Haxton’ back in 2012. Since then, he has played a total of 117,939 hands and his online profits amount to $597,559. In October 2012, Haxton became member of Team PokerStars Online. According to latest information, the New York-born player ranks 57th on the list of the biggest online poker winners.

Haxton can also be seen in live tournaments. Up to date, his live earnings amount to $9,599,221. The player won his biggest cash of $2,525,841 back in February 2014, when he finished 2nd in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship A$250,000 No-Limit Hold’em Challenge.

Haxton started playing poker at the age of 18. He frequented the Turning Stone Casino in New York to acquaint himself with the particularities of the game. The player won his first live cash in a major tournament back in 2007, when he received $861,789 for his runner-up finish in the PCA $7,800 + 200 WPT Championship Event No-Limit Hold’em.

Other notable achievements in his live career include a 2nd place in the 40th WSOP $40,000 No-Limit Hold’em 40th Anniversary event for $1,168,565, a 5th place in the GuangDong Asia Millions HK$1,000,000 No-Limt Hold’em Main Event for HK$10,200,000 ($1,313,879), a 2nd place in the 2014 Aria $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super High Roller for $813,394, etc.

Earlier this month, Haxton cashed in two EPT Season 11 Grand Final events. He took €29,900 ($33,552) for finishing 30th in the €10,000 + 600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, and €70,000 ($78,023) for finishing 17th in the €25,000 + 500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller 8-Handed event.

Currently, the player ranks 23rd in the United States money list, 37th in the all time money list, and 126th in the GPI leaderboard.
