The 46th annual WSOP is currently hosted by Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and 15 bracelets have already found their owner. However, this does not mean that Las Vegas is the only place where major poker tournaments are to take place in the week between June 8-14. Here is a bit more information about the events that are scheduled to kick off over the next several days.
2015 Deep Stacks Challenge June
The Borgata, one of Atlantic City’s emblematic casinos, will host the June Deep Stacks Challenge between June 8-20. The tournament will feature a total of 13 one-day No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-in fees starting from $120 to $400 and guaranteed prize pools of $15,000 to $50,000.
2015 Summer Madness Series
The 2015 Summer Madness Series is to start on June 9 and will run through June 13. Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, California will play host to the tournament. It is to feature 5 one-day No-Limit Hold’em events, including a $350 Shootout (100 Max) one. The buy-in fees for three of the other events will also be $350. However, players will have to pay $560 to enter the last event in the Series schedule.
2015 Super High Roller Bowl Q1
The Super High Roller Bowl, one of the most exciting tournaments to take place this summer, is just three weeks away. It will run from June 27 through July 4 and Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will play host to it. According to the latest information, participants will be awarded more than $25 million in prize money.
But before that, the popular hotel and casino venue will host a one-day $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Eight Max tournament, which will award seats into the Super High Roller Bowl. A seat will be granted for every $500,000 in net buy-in fees. In other words, the number of seats depends on the number of entries and the size of the prize pool created.
For instance, if the prize pool amounts to $1.2 million, the top 2 finishers will be given the opportunity to take part in the Super High Roller Bowl and will receive $500,000 each. The remaining $200,000 will be distributed among the players who take 3rd, 4th, and 5th places. The Super High Roller Bowl Q1 is scheduled to take place on June 9 and will start at 2 pm local time.
2015 Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo
The inaugural Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo will take place at Casino Di Sanremo between June 10 and June 15. Apart from the four-day €1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, which will kick off on June 12, the tournament will also feature 15 other events with buy-in fees starting from €35.
