
Revenue from table games amounted to $23.8 million, compared to $25.1 million posted for May 2014. Last month, Ohio’s casinos featured a total of 432 table games. This time last year, there were 431 of those at the four facilities.
Revenue from all 7,911 slot machines featured at the gambling venues totaled $47.2 million in May. In comparison, as many as 8,087 slots were featured in May 2014 and the amount of $46 million was generated.
Horseshoe Cleveland was the state’s top performer last month. It posted revenue of $19 million, down 2.4% compared to $19.5 million in May 2014. Revenue from the casino’s 119 table games totaled $9.8 million. Slot machines generated $9.2 million last month. There were a total of 1,638 of those at the property.
Revenue at Hollywood Columbus amounted to $18.4 million, up 0.4% compared to the $18.3 million posted in May 2014. Table games at the casino generated $5.7 million. There were 114 of them offered at the property last month. Revenue from all 2,235 slot machines amounted to $12.7 million in May.
Revenue at Hollywood Toledo increased to $16.9 million from $16.2 million posted in May 2014. The casino’s 80 table games generated a total of $2.7 million. Revenue from all 2,045 slot machines amounted to $14.2 million.
Horseshoe Cincinnati posted May revenue of $16.7 million, down 2.7% year-on-year. The casino’s 119 table games generated a total of $5.5 million last month. Slot machine revenue amounted to $11.2 million. Back in May, there were 1,993 of those at the property.
Ohio’s four casinos generated a total of $371 million in the five months ended May 31. In comparison, the amount of $346.3 million was posted for the same period a year ago. Table games at the four properties generated revenue of $115.5 million for the past five months. Revenue from slot machines totaled $230.3 million during the reviewed period.
Apart from the four casinos, there are also seven racinos operating on the territory of Ohio. They generated revenue of $73.6 million in May. This time last year, there were five racinos in the state and they posted revenue of $55.7 million.
