The 2015 WSOP $10,000 Main Event kicked off on Sunday, July 5, which means that the summer leg of this year’s Series has entered its final stage. Despite indisputably being the most interesting event, it is not the only one to start in the week between July 6-12. Here are three other tournaments that are scheduled to kick off this week and they are definitely worth being paid a little more attention.
2015 Florida State Poker Championship
The poker room at Isle Casino Pompano Park in Pompano Beach, Florida will play host to the 2015 Florida State Poker Championship. The tournament is to run from July 6 through July 28 and will feature fourteen No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha events with guaranteed prize pools starting from $8,000.
The $1,500 Main Event is scheduled to kick off on July 23 and will continue up to July 27. Players will be given the opportunity to win their share of the guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.
The buy-ins for the rest of the events vary from $70 to $570 for the four-day $570 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000.
2015 Tampa Downs Summer Series
The Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs will host this five-day tournament, which is scheduled to start on July 8. It will feature four different events. On July 8, players will have the chance to enter a $125 No-Limit Hold’em Bounty event with a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000 and a $225 Pot-Limit Omaha one with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000. On the next day, a $120 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000 is scheduled to take place. On July 10, the $350 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event will kick off. It will run through July 12 and players will be given the opportunity to scoop a portion of the $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.
2015 Bellagio Cup XI
As its name suggests, this tournament will take place at the emblematic Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and will run between July 9 and July 15. Apart from the Bellagio Cup XI itself, players will also have the chance to enter a $1090 Super Satellite No-Limit Hold’em event, which is to begin on July 9 and a $2,140 Seniors Summer Championship, which is to start on July 13.
The $10,400 Bellagio Cup XI is scheduled to kick off on July 10 and will run through July 14.
