The upcoming week promises to be quite exciting as a number of tournaments are scheduled to kick off. The Philippine city of Cebu will welcome the Asian Poker Tour, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh will host its annual Poker Open Summer Series, and the Card Player Poker Tour will stop at bestbet Jacksonville’s poker room. More details on those and a few other tournaments that will begin in the week between August 10-16 could be found in the next few paragraphs.
2015 APT – Cebu
This week, the Asian Poker Tour will stop at Waterfront Hotel and Casino in the Philippine city of Cebu. The tournament is scheduled to start on August 11 and will run through August 19. It will feature 16 No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Pineapple events. The buy-ins for those start from PHP3,300 to PHP108,000 for the two-day No-Limit Hold-em.
The six-day PHP50,000 Main Event is set to kick off on August 14 and will continue up to August 19 when the final table is to take place.
2015 Daytona Beach Beachside Open
Daytona Beach Kennel Club & Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida will host a six-day tournament, which is scheduled to start on August 11. Players will have the chance to enter a total of 5 No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-in fees starting from $130 to $360 for the three-day Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. It is to begin on August 14.
2015 Pittsburgh Poker Open Summer Series
Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino will host a twelve-day tournament starting August 13. It will feature as many as 23 one-day No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events as well as a four-day No-Limit Hold’em Main event. The latter is to kick off on August 21.
In order to enter the events, players will have to pay buy-ins starting from $100 to $1,100 for the Main Event.
CPPT III – bestbet Jacksonville
Season III of the Card Player Poker Tour will next stop at bestbet Jacksonville for a twelve-day poker tournament, which is scheduled to start on August 13. Players will be given the opportunity to enter 22 No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha events.
The $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 will kick off on August 21. Apart from it, there will be several other quite exciting events worth entering, with the $350 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 and the $200 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 being among those.
The buy-in fees start from $200 to $1,500 for the Main Event.
2015 HPT – Ameristar Kansas City
Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri will welcome poker players for an eleven-day HPT tournament starting on August 14. There will be a total of 9 No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events. The buy-ins for those start from $150 to $1,650 for the Main Event.
Speaking of it, it will run from August 21 through August 24, when the final table is scheduled to take place.
