Global Cash Access to Supply Gaming and Payment Solutions to Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort

Las Vegas-headquartered company Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc. (GCA) announced earlier today that it had reached an agreement with Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi to provide the venue with a selection of its payment solutions and electronic gaming machines.

Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort is expected to open doors towards the end of 2015. The $350-million property will be the first casino in D’Iberville and will feature 1,350 slot machines, 45 table games, and a poker room with 10 tables. In addition to this, guests will be given the chance to stay at a 300-room hotel. A miniature golf course, a number of food and beverage options, and a specially designed erupting volcano will also be among the features offered at the hotel and casino resort. A topping out ceremony for its 18-story tower was held in June.

Under the agreement, GCA will place a number of slot machine banks, the innovative slot tournament system TournEvent included. Generally speaking, the system makes it possible for casino operators to quickly switch from in-revenue to out-of-revenue tournaments. In addition to TournEvent, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will also feature a selection of GCA’s most popular titles, both mechanical and video slot ones.

Under the agreement, the gambling venue will also install a full suits of compliance payments, as well as cash access and marketing solutions developed by the Las Vegas-headquarered company. For instance, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will offer both full-service and jackpot payment kiosks as well as check guarantee and cash access services.

CentralCredit, GCA’s gaming customer credit bureau, will also be among the features that the casino would offer upon opening. In addition to this, the so-called NEWave software for tax reporting and prevention of money laundering practices will, too, be included.
