Alpharetta-based provider of hospitality software solutions Agilysys, Inc. announced earlier today that Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort, located in Hogansburg, New York, had chosen the company’s rGuest Pay payment solution and the InfoGenesis POS system in order to streamline its operations and provide customers with better experience and safe card payments.
Commenting on the future partnership with Agilysys, Toby TenEyck, director of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort’s food and beverage operations, said that the decision to select those particular products was not a difficult one. It seems that Mr. TenEyck had previously worked with the company at another property. The executive noted that the transition from another vendor and all the related processes had been very smooth and well-organized.
Mr. TenEyck also pointed out that Agilysys tends to respond to its partners in timely fashion, calling the provider’s support department “exceptional.” This is why the executive believes that they have made the right choice.
As mentioned above, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort is located in Hogansburg in the North Country of New York. The hotel and casino complex features as many as 150 guest rooms, four restaurants, a spa, and several meeting facilities. As for the casino floor, it spreads over 130,000 square feet and offers gambling customers 1,800 different slot and video games and 30 table games.
The property is operated by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe. Casino officials pointed out that they have been looking for fully integrated payment gateway and point-of-sale solutions, particularly for the resort’s food and beverage facilities. They noted that the solutions offered by Agilysys have completely met their criteria and will most definitely help the venue bolster its efficiency and reduce risks related to the acceptance of credit cards.
Generally speaking, InfoGenesis POS system is a combination of a tablet touchscreen application and an easy-to-operate terminal. It is designed for more complex operations and features multi-language, prix fixe menus, real-time reporting, etc.
As for rGuest Pay, it is a payment gateway solution that ensures complete and safe payment processing. It offers Point-to-Point Encryption, which reduces significantly the risks for potential fraud and hacking, and Payment Information Proxy, which secures the arrival of data via e-commerce interfaces. In addition to all this, the solution includes a wide range of both fixed and mobile EMV-ready devices, which are compliant with the latest card security regulations.
