Nevada-based manufacturer of slot machines and other casino equipment Everi Holdings Inc. announced earlier today that it had extended its partnership with Connecticut’s Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Recently, the gambling property included Everi’s TournEvent system for slot tournaments to the options it offers to its gambling customers. With the extended partnership, Foxwoods is to add more titles to its TournEvent selection of casino games.
Generally speaking, the TournEvent system, considered by many as a revolutionary one, could be found in more than 300 casinos. What distinguishes it from other similar products is that it offers a quick and seamless switch from in-revenue play to out-of-revenue slot tournaments. Everi pointed out that its system has recently been upgraded and a number of new titles have been added. What is more, certain enhancements that would improve operators’ efficiency and players’ experience have also been introduced.
Felix Rappaport, President and CEO of Foxwoods, commented that the TournEvent system has been quite popular among their gambling customers and that they are extremely impressed with its capabilities. The executive further explained that they have had quite a beneficial partnership with Everi and it just made sense to increase their presence on Foxwoods’ casino floor with the installation of additional TournEvent devices.
Mr. Rappaport also noted that the venue now offers customers even more gambling options. Most recently, the casino hosted the $1 Million Dream Slot Tournament as part of the so-called $25 Million Dollar Summer of Dreams campaign. The executive pointed out that Everi has supported them on “every step of the way.”
Ram V. Chary, President and CEO of Everi also commented on the extended partnership. He noted that his company has been providing the Connecticut-based casino with its payments solutions for quite some time now. He also pointed out that they are extremely happy with the opportunities to further enhance their relationship by the addition of TournEvent machines on the property’s gaming floor.
Mr. Chary said that Everi will continue supporting Foxwoods in its bid to further establish itself as one of the industry leaders and providing the casino with its selection of products that are designed to “impact gaming, finance, and compliance.”
