Maryland Lottery and Gaming posted on Tuesday information about the financial performance of the five casinos that operated within the state’s borders in September 2015. All five gambling venues generated overall gaming revenue of $87.5 million, up 6.2% year-on-year. In comparison, the amount of $82.4 million was posted for the same month a year ago.

Hollywood Casino Perryville’s proceeds amounted to $6.2 million last month, up 5% as compared to the figures posted for September 2014. Last month, the casino ran as many as 850 slot machines, 12 banking table games, and 10 non-banking ones. Average revenue per slot machine per day amounted to $204.01. Banking table games brought in $2,536.73 per day and non-banking ones daily generated an average of $291.17.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, which opened doors in August 2014, was the only gambling venue to post a drop in its monthly revenue in September. It decreased 1.1% as compared to September 2014. The gambling venue generated a total of $22.1 million last month. It operated a total of 2,200 slot machines, 153 banking tables, and 25 non-banking ones. Revenue per slot machine per day amounted to $198.22. Banking table games generated an average of $1,821.50 per day, and non-banking ones brought in $918.03 per unit per day.

Revenue at Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover increased 8.9% year-on-year to reach $49.6 million in September. The gaming facility featured 4,059 slot machines, 150 banking table games, and 52 non-banking ones. Revenue per slot machine per day was $264.01. Banking table games generated $3,443.43 per unit per day and non-banking ones generated $1,212.38 per unit per day.

Rocky Gap Casino Resort posted a 6.2% increase in revenue. It totaled $3.9 million last month. The casino operated 627 slot machines, 16 banking table games, and 2 non-banking ones. Slot machines at the venue generated an average $178.87 per unit per day. Banking table games contributed $1,004.08 per unit per day and non-banking ones generated $179 per unit per day.

Revenue at Casino at Ocean Downs rose 15.4% year-on-year to reach $5.7 million last month. The casino operated 800 slot machines last month and no table games. Revenue per slot machine per day amounted to $237.85 in September.
