The Indiana Gaming Commission posted on Thursday information about the revenue generated by the state’s thirteen gambling venues in September 2015. Overall, casino proceeds amounted to $174.6 million last month. In comparison, the amount of $174 million was reported for September 2014.
All thirteen facilities offered a total of 681 table games last month. Revenue from those amounted to $25.8 million. In comparison, there were 699 table games offered at the properties in September 2014 and those generated $26 million.
What is more, the casinos operated 19,566 slot machines last month. Those contributed $148.8 million to the overall casino revenue. In September 2014, there were as many as 20,032 slot machines across Indiana’s thirteen gambling venues and those generated $148 million.
Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago posted September revenue of $17.8 million compared to $16.6 million for the same month a year ago. The gambling venue featured 56 table games last month. Revenue from those amounted to $3.3 million. In addition, there were 1,711 slot machines at the casino and those generated $14.5 million.
Belterra Casino Resort & Spa reported monthly revenue of $8.7 million compared to $9.2 million for the same month a year ago. The casino ran 45 table games and 1,162 slot machines in September. Revenue from the first amounted to $1.1 million. As for the venue’s slot machines, revenue from those totaled $7.6 million.
Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa earned a total of $13.1 million last month compared to $12.4 million posted for September 2014. The casino offered customers a total of 52 table games and 1,780 slot machines last month. The first generated $1.3 million and the latter contributed $11.8 million to the overall revenue.
French Lick Resort Casino posted a total of $6.5 million compared to $6 million for the same period a year ago. The casino featured 37 table games, which generated $963,141, and 972 slot machines, which generated $5.6 million.
Revenue at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg amounted to $13.7 million compared to $14.4 million posted for September 2014. Last month, the gambling venue operated 79 table games that generated revenue of $1.9 million. In addition, there were 1,846 slot machines at the property and proceeds from those amounted to $11.7 million.
Hoosier Park Racing & Casino posted revenue of $16.6 million compared to $15.6 million reported for September 2014. The property featured 1,908 slot machines last month.
Horseshoe Hammond Casino reported September revenue of $32.4 million compared to $33.9 million posted for the same month a year ago. There were 163 table games at the casino and proceeds from those totaled $9.3 million. Slot machines generated $23.2 million. Last month, there were 2,858 of those at the property.
Casino proceeds at Horseshoe Southern Indiana totaled $20.1 million compared to $19.9 million for the same month a year ago. The venue featured 101 table games and 1,650 slot machines. Revenue from the first amounted to $4.5 million and to $15.6 million from the latter.
The 2,070 slot machines Indiana Grand Race Course featured last month generated revenue of $20 million compared to $19.4 million posted for the same month a year ago.
Majestic Star Casino reported revenue of $6.9 million last month. In comparison, the venue generated a total of $7.9 million in September 2014. Last month, the venue managed 53 table games and 886 slot machines. Revenue from the first totaled $1.6 million. Slot machines generated $5.3 million.
Revenue at Majestic Star Casino II amounted to $5.2 million compared to $5.3 million reported for September 2014. Last month, there were 26 table games at the property and those generated $129,333. Slot machines generated $5 million. There were 838 of those at the venue.
Rising Star Casino Resort posted revenue of $4.1 million. In comparison, the casino generated $4.1 million for the same 30-day period a year ago. In September 2015, Rising Star featured 29 table games and 974 slot machines. Table games generated a total of $296,036 and slot machines raked in $3.8 million.
Last but not least, revenue at Tropicana Evansville amounted to $9.6 million compared to $9.7 million reported for September 2014. Last month, the casino managed 40 table games, which generated $1.5 million, and 911 slot machines, which generated revenue of $8.1 million.
