Earlier this year, NetEnt announced that it had signed a partnership agreement to supply its most popular casino titles to bwin.party and its New Jersey partner – Borgata. In fact, bwin.party’s gaming platform within the state’s borders currently supports Borgata’s casino, poker, and partypoker online brands.
Last month, NetEnt was granted a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Under it, the gaming developer was allowed to launch its titles with bwin.party and Borgata while the state gambling regulator is considering whether it would eventually award the company with a full license.
With the transactional waiver being granted and the installation process being completed smoothly, a selection of NetEnt’s online casino games are now available to New Jersey-based online gambling customers. The state is one of three where online casino gambling is legal.
Commenting on the latest announcement, NetEnt Americas LLC Managing Director Björn
Krantz said that he is very pleased that their multichannel games are now live for desktop and mobile with the bwin.party and Borgata brands in New Jersey. The executive also noted that the launch represents one more “milestone achievement” towards NetEnt’s objective to contribute to the further growth of the online casino market together with its New Jersey-based partners.
Speaking of milestone achievements, the Swedish gaming supplier was recently named Digital Industry Supplier of the Year at the 2015 Global Gaming Awards. The prestigious ceremony was held for the second time ever at the Venetian Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. In June, NetEnt also bagged the Best Slot Provider, Best Mobile Supplier, and Best Innovation in Mobile awards at the annual eGR B2B Awards.
With the third quarter of the year being completed, NetEnt announced that it would hold a press conference on October 22 at which it would announce its quarterly results. The company is expected to report a growth in its revenue for the three months ended September 30. During the previous quarter, NetEnt’s revenue increased 32.3% year-on-year to reach SEK271.2 million.
