Coral Sea Resort & Casino, the newest casino resort on the Solomon Islands, is set to commence operations in November. The resort will also host an official opening ceremony on December 5. Opening festivities will also include an outdoor concert, with British singer Craig David being among the notable performers who are to take part in it.
The popular singer will present concert-goers with his famous TS5 show. Attendees of the opening party will also be able to see Jamaican reggae singer Conkarah and DJ Tuff Tumas from Vanuatu as well as local performers Jeeno, JAHBOY, and the Unique and OutKast dance crews. And certainly, there will be a lot more surprises.
Coral Sea Resort & Casino is planned to be launched in three phases. Construction works on Phase One are expected to be completed by the end of October and, as mentioned above, the venue will be operational in November. Phase One of the ambitious project will include two gaming floors with as many as 64 slot machines and table games such as blackjack, baccarat, roulette, Pacific Poker, etc., a Haydn’s Steakhouse, Haydn’s Bar, the so-called Coral Sea Resort Water Salon – a swimming pool offering guests breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, and a number of other exciting amenities that visitors of the resort will be able to explore upon arrival.
Commenting on Haydn’s Steakhouse, Steve Cameron, Food and Beverage Manager for the luxury complex, and Richard Marshall, Executive Head Chef, said that guests can expect excellent service, professional staff, and the highest possible quality. As for Haydn’s Bar, it would treat guests of the resort with a wide variety of cocktails, premium spirits, and a rich international wine list.
Coral Sea Resort & Casino is expected to quickly establish itself as a desirable tourist destination and to attract a great number of visitors to the Solomon Islands, particularly in the capital Honiara, where the resort is located. Phase Two of the complex is scheduled to be completed and launched late in 2016.
Developers and architects pointed out that the resort had been designed to correspond to the exotic Pacific surroundings and to complement those in the best possible way.
