News

Bulgarian gaming machine manufacturer Euro Games Technology (EGR) announced that it had placed more than 130 of its gaming machines across a number of Georgia-based casinos. The sited devices include the company’s Premier series P-24/24 Up and P-24/24 St Slim, as well as its progressive jackpot system known as Egypt Quest, the Vega Vission+ slant top and upright cabinets, etc.

The devices were installed in some of Georgia’s most popular gambling venues, with Casino Peace, Casino Las Vegas, Casino Campione, Casino Grant Intourist being among those. Most of the facilities that had EGT gaming machines installed are located in Batumi.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Casino Peace General Manager Shota Amiranashvili said that the EGT gaming machines have become an instant success at the casino’s premises since the day they were installed. Mr. Amiranashvili further noted that the new devices were welcomed by customers as they gave them the chance to “stay in game longer.”

This has not been the first collaboration between the gambling venue and the manufacturer. Yet, some of the Georgia-based casinos had EGT products installed for the very first time.

EGT Georgia Director Radostina Valcheva told media that their main purpose now is to turn into a major supplier of casino gaming machines in Georgia and that they can achieve this only by “keeping the pace of [their]

sales growth.” Ms. Valcheva also noted that there will be several more installations before the end of the year. Leo Grand Casino in Batumi will be among the venues that will have EGT machines sited within their premises.

The announcement about the installation of gaming machines in some of Georgia’s major gambling venues comes shortly after EGT announced a partnership agreement with online gaming and sports betting software provider BetConstruct.

Under the terms of the agreement, BetConstruct is to offer its sportsbook products to platform operators working with EGT. The first one that is to work with the said products is Macedonia-licensed online gambling company 2Win.

BetConstruct CEO Vahe Baloulian told media that they were very pleased to welcome 2Win to BetConstruct’s network of gaming partners. The executive also noted that they were looking forward to further expanding their business relations with EGT in order to get more opportunities for entering new gambling markets.
