NetEnt Content Goes Live on Golden Nugget Casino Site

News

Swedish developer and supplier of online casino games and other related gaming solutions NetEnt today announced that a selection of its most popular titles both for desktop and mobile devices is now live on Golden Nugget’s new online casino site and is available to gambling customers in New Jersey.

It was in August when the Swedish company announced that it had signed a content agreement with Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, one of the eight operational casinos in Atlantic City and one of the five such casinos that provide Internet gambling options in the city and across the state.

NetEnt was then granted a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, under which the supplier was able to launch its games on the Golden Nugget website, while its application for a full gaming license was under review. And after the necessary integration work was completed, a selection of the gaming developer’s titles went live on Golden Nugget’s online casino.

NetEnt Americas LLC Managing Director Björn Krantz said that they are particularly excited with the Golden Nugget partnership and the fact that their games are now live on the casino’s online gambling site. Mr. Krantz also expressed hopes that their product offering would contribute to the Atlantic City-based casino’s further growth and would provide its gambling customers with “a great player experience.”

The latest announcement comes only a day after NetEnt told media that the first in a series of games has gone live on Caesars Interactive Entertainment’s online casino site, after the Swedish company had received a transactional waiver by the New Jersey gambling regulator and had completed the necessary integration work.

Earlier this year, the gaming developer announced similar content agreements with other New Jersey-based providers of both land-based and online gambling services, with The Borgata and Resorts Casino being among those. Those key partnerships are part of NetEnt’s strategy to expand its presence in the New Jersey online gambling market. Currently, the state is one of three where Internet gambling is legal, with Nevada and Delaware being the other two.

In October, the Swedish developer reported a record revenue increase for the third quarter ended September 30, 2015. Revenue grew 28.8% during the reported period to reach SEK279.8 million. The company attributed its positive results to the strategic partnerships it signed with both North American and European gambling operators.
