Poker Tournaments to Start between January 11-17

With the PCA currently taking place at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the upcoming week promises to be quite exciting, especially given the fact that a few other major tournaments are set to kick off. The L.A. Poker Classic is just a few days away, the WSOP International Circuit is heading to Morocco and the APT will stop in Manila. These are only several of the poker events scheduled to begin in the week between January 11-17. More about them could be found below.

2016 Liz Flynt Poker Championship

Hustler Casino in Gardena, California will once again play host to the Liz Flynt Poker Championship. The event is scheduled to take place from January 12-15 and everyone interested to take part in it would have to pay a buy-in fee of $275. The tournament will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000.

2016 APT – Manila

The APT would stop at Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino for an exciting poker festival from January 12 to January 21. It will feature a total of 19 different events, including No-Limit Hold’em, Omaha, and Pineapple ones. Buy-ins for those vary from PHP5,500 to PHP108,000. The PHP50,000 Main Event is scheduled to take place from January 16-20.

2016 HPT – Indiana

Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago in Indiana is slated to play host to HPT’s next stop. The tournament will run from January 14 to January 25. Players will have the chance to enter 9 different No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events. Buy-ins for those start from $100. The five-day $1,650 Main Event is scheduled to kick off on January 21. Apart from it, the four-day $300 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 will be another thrilling event worth entering. It is to begin on January 14.

2016 L.A. Poker Classic

The L.A. Poker Classic is just a few days away and promises to be as exciting as always. The tournament will start on January 15 and will run up through March 3. It will feature 56 different events with buy-ins starting from $75.

Commerce Casino in Commerce, California will play host to the tournament. Players will be given the chance to show their skills in different poker variants and to win their share of guaranteed prize pools of up to $500,000. The six-day Main Event with a $10,000 buy-in fee is scheduled for February 27.

2015/2016 WSOP International Circuit: Morocco

The WSOP International Circuit will be in Morocco from January 16 to January 24. Casino de Marrakech in Kivernage will play host to the poker festival. Its schedule will include 16 events and players will have to pay between €100 and €1,350 in order to be able to enter them.

The four-day €1,350 No-Limit Hold’em will most definitely be the tournament’s highlight. It will take place from January 21-24.
