Provider of gaming and sports betting solutions BetConstruct has signed an agreement with National Lottery Bulgaria to provide the latter’s official website with its sportsbook product offering. The sports betting product is to be launched sometime in the first quarter of the year.
National Lottery Bulgaria currently holds a 90% share in the country’s gambling market, with its lottery distribution network of over 20,000 POSs across Bulgaria. The upcoming launch of BetConstruct’s sportsbook will further expand its current portfolio of gaming products. At present, National Lottery Bulgaria gives players the opportunity to buy online tickets for a wide variety of scratchcards and lottery games.
Vahe Baloulian, CEO of BetConstruct, said that the company considers National Lottery Bulgaria an extremely important and stimulating partner as it is an established and trusted entity. The executive further noted that they all hope the partnership will be expanded in future, praising Bulgaria’s biggest provider of lottery and scratchcard gaming options and its commitment to the “development of Bulgarian sporting excellence” and the positive impact the gambling industry can have.
The announcement about the latest partnership comes only a few days after BetConstruct revealed the opening of its newest regional offices in Kiev, Ukraine and Montevideo, Uruguay as part of its recently introduced strategy for international sales and service development.
Commenting on this, Mr. Baloulian said that they have decided to open a second sales and service center in Latin America due to their established practice to be as close to partners as possible as well as their strategy to constantly expand into new markets. As for the Kiev-based office, the executive explained that it has been opened as the company wants to provide customers in Eastern Europe with an even better service.
Earlier this month, BetConstruct also announced that its sportsbook has been certified by testing laboratory Quinel M. “for physical devices in a casino environment.” The company said that it considers it extremely important to provide its land-based gambling customers, with the ones working in a casino environment included, with different revenue opportunities.
In October 2015, BetConstruct’s sportsbook product was certified by Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, known to be Spain’s national gambling regulator. Sports betting offering was launched in the country later that month.
