Metric Gaming to Provide BetStars with Golf Pricing Feeds

News

Provider of sports betting solutions for both desktop and mobile Metric Gaming announced that it has penned a partnership agreement with Canadian online gaming giant Amaya, under the terms of which the supplier would provide the company’s latest brand BetStars with a wide variety of golf pricing feeds.

BetStars is an online sportsbook brand, launched in December 2015. With the latest agreement, the brand will be provided with Metric Gaming’s golf pricing feed package, with pre-game markets included. Those include outright winners of a number of tournaments and numerous betting opportunities. The SuperLive solution, offering shot-by-shot and hole-by-hole odds, and in-running markets on round and tournament winners will also be available.

As mentioned above, Amaya, which is also owner of the world’s largest online poker rooms PokerStars and Full Tilt, launched its BetStars brand in selected markets late last year. The Canadian gambling company hired London-headquartered advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky to promote the sports betting product. The amount of a £10 million was spent on a massive advertising campaign.

BetStars is to roll out the golf pricing feed package as part of its strategy to establish itself as a leading sports betting brand. Under the terms of its deal with Metric Gaming, BetStars will have the chance to launch the SuperLive price solution across other sports as well, including football, basketball, and tennis.

Commenting on his company’s latest major agreement, Metric Gaming founder Martin de Knijff said that he finds compelling the prospect to deliver their “unique vision for golf wagering entertainment” with a major online gambling company like Amaya. Mr. de Knijff further noted that the Canadian giant choosing their end-to-end golf product is a welcome endorsement of the Metric Gaming’s offering, pricing, and technology.

Earlier this week, the supplier of sports betting solutions confirmed that it has inked a deal with Alternative Trading Partners, a Las Vegas-headquartered venture financier, securing a certain funding round. Metric Gaming officials chose not to disclose the amount of money that has been secured but revealed that it would be spent on advancing SuperLive’s mobile platform development, while looking for more major partnerships within the constantly growing gambling industry.

Alternative Trading Partners officials said that they have decided to back Metric Gaming as the company is initiating an important transformation within the sports betting sector and its product offering will most definitely be found attractive by top-tier gambling operators from around the world.
