Manufacturer, developer, and supplier of gaming machines and related solutions for the global gambling industry International Game Technology PLC announced today the launch of the Spin Ferno spinning reel solution, which is to be deployed by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
The said system solution will give the gambling venue the opportunity to provide customers with automated slot tournament options featured on the S3000 spinning reel cabinet. The Spin Ferno solution is powered by IGT’s very own Tournament Manager 5.0. The latter system solution makes it possible for the S3000 gaming machine to host both multi-site and single tournaments.
IGT pointed out that the Spin Ferno product is the first of its kind to offer automated tournaments for mechanical reel cabinets and is yet another in the family of various other tournament system solutions.
Nick Khin, Senior Vice President of Sales, North America Gaming & Interactive, said that they are extremely happy with the chance to bring the Spin Ferno solution to the gambling market with Seminole Hard Rock Tampa as their partner.
Of the Spin Ferno product, Mr. Khin also said that it would further extend the S3000 cabinet capabilities as the gaming machine has already proved to be a successful product. It would also once again exemplify IGT’s leading position in the creation of premium customer experience by “pairing game and systems innovation”, according to the official.
Dan Ingster, Vice President for Slot Operations at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, said that they feel honored to become the first casino to be offering the Spin Ferno technology. The solution is expected to be launched at the venue later this month.
Mr. Ingster explained that they acquainted themselves with the product during last year’s edition of the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas and they felt that it would be a perfect match to Seminole Hard Rock’s offering. According to the official, tournament flexibility, technology, and game play were some of the most important factors upon deciding to opt for the Spin Ferno solution.
The tournament solution has been deployed on a total of 26 S3000 gaming cabinets located in a special area in the Central Florida-based gambling venue.
