
Mr. Nordberg has previously served as Chief Performance Officer of social games company King Digital Entertainment PLC. He has also headed Electronic Arts’ EA Play4Free Publishing. Following his appointment at Mr Green, Mr. Nordberg said that gambling companies are now looking for new ways to market and promote their product offering as the boundaries between free-to-play and real money games are being “rapidly broken down and merged into a hybrid business model.”
He also pointed out that he is pleased to be joining a management team that is striving to change the online gaming industry for good. Mr Green’s new Chief Marketing Officer added that “brand values and customer sentiment” are now much more important than massive TV advertising campaigns and this is why he is joining that particular gambling company.
As mentioned above, Oskar Mühlbach has also been given an important role at the online casino brand. Former Chief Operating Officer of Footway, Mr. Mühlbach is to take the same role at Mr Green. The official has also formerly been a board member at a number of startup companies.
Of his appointment as COO of the online casino brand, Mr. Mühlbach said that he is honored to be given the chance to join the online gaming operator at such an exciting time for the industry.
