Developer of gaming solutions for the international gambling industry Playtech announced today that it is to roll out its Neon casino management system for Grosvenor Casinos, UK’s largest casino chain owned by gambling operator Rank Group. Thus, the developer will considerably expand its presence across the UK.
The said cloud-based solution will go live in Grosvenor Casinos’ 55 venues across the UK. The roll-out comes shortly after Playtech launched the Neon casino management system with 43 UK-based casinos owned by gambling company Genting. Thus, over 90% of all casinos across the nation will be deploying Playtech’s product.
Neon will manage and track important player data, cash desk, and related operations for Grosvenor. The solutions will also support a number of other activities, including ones related to responsible gambling, anti-money laundering prevention, etc. It is understood that the Grosvenor Casino chain has also opted for Neon Analytics, a business intelligence platform offering a number of custom-designed dashboards aiming at meeting the specific needs of each of the venues and their management teams.
The Israeli software giant has itself described its Neon solution as the most advanced one of its kind in the world.
Commenting on the upcoming roll-out, Martin Sykes, Managing Director of Intelligent Gaming Systems at Playtech, said that they are extremely proud to have UK’s largest land-based gambling operator as their partner as this would help Playtech to further establish itself as the world’s fastest-growing developer and supplier of retail casino systems.
Mr. Sykes also noted that the Israeli developer has worked closely with Grosvenor Casinos to analyse the operator’s demands and that it has taken advantage of the chance to communicate with group experts in order to identify additional opportunities for further improvement of its casino management solutions.
Richard Playle, Director of Finance at Grosvenor Casinos, noted that the brand was looking for a partner to match its technical division and to launch a management solution that would meet the needs of a wide variety of customers. The official said that they have selected Playtech due to the latter’s expertise, technical architecture, and willingness to design the Neon solution in a manner that would help the casino chain drive its business forward.
