Poker Tournaments to Start between April 25-May 1

Although Monte-Carlo Casino in Monaco, where the EPT Season 12 Grand Final is set to take place, will certainly be the meeting point of some of the world’s most popular players, this does not mean that there will not be other thrilling poker events to start in the week between April 25-May 1. Here is a selection of some of the note-worthy festivals slated to begin within the above-mentioned period as well as bit more information about each of them.

EPT Season 12 Grand Final

It is that time of the year when Monaco is the preferred traveling destination to some of the biggest names in poker as it will host the EPT Grand Final once again. One of the world’s most glamorous poker festivals is to take place from April 26 to May 6 and will mark the conclusion of the EPT Season 12. The event will run together with the France Poker Tour.

Its schedule includes a total of 55 different tournaments, all promising to be exciting and generous to players, offering the top finishers shares of considerable prize pools. The €5,300 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event will indisputably be the one to attract the most attention. Adrian Mateos won the tournament this time last year to collect the amount of €1,082,000 and have his name recorded in the EPT history. The Spanish player was only 20 years old at the time of his victory.

Apart from the Main Event, the €100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Eight Max, or else known as the EPT Season 12 Grand Final Super High Roller, will be another tournament that will certainly draw quite a lot of attention.

2016 HPT Indiana

The Heartland Poker Tour is next going to Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago in East Chicago, Indiana. The popular American poker series will run a twelve-day tournament, starting April 28. Players will have the chance to enter 8 No-Limit Hold’em events and a Pot-Limit Omaha one. The tournament will be kicked off with a four-day multiple starting flight event with a $300 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. The Main Event is slated to commence on May 5. It will be a five-day one and players will be required to pay a buy-in fee of $1,650 in order to be able to enter it.

2015/16 HPO Columbus

The next stop on this season’s Hollywood Poker Open schedule will be Hollywood Casino Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. The popular casino will play host to the poker festival from April 28 to May 8. There will be 13 different events to be taking place, with 12 of those being No-Limit Hold’em ones. The tournament’s schedule also includes a Pot-Limit Omaha event. The three-day $1,115 Main Event is to begin on May 6.

2016 California State Poker Championship

Commerce Casino in Commerce, California will be the host venue to this thrilling poker festival. The event is set to run from April 29 to May 15. Its schedule features as many as 20 different poker tournaments. Some of the events include guaranteed prize pools of up to half a million dollars.

The $1,650 Main Event is to kick off on May 13. In fact, it is exactly that tournament that will give players the chance to win their share of the guaranteed $500,000 prize pool.

Aria High Roller XXX-XXXI

Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will end the month with two one-day high roller events – one is set to take place on April 29 and the other is scheduled for the very next day. As usual, players will have to pay the amount of $25,000 in order to enter them.
