William Hill to Upgrade Two Downtown Reno Casinos’ Sportsbook Offering

News

Gaming and sports betting operator William Hill has signed a multi-year agreement with US casino company Eldorado Resorts, under the terms of which William Hill will upgrade and manage the racing and sportsbook offering at Circus Circus Hotel Casino in Reno, Nevada and Silver Legacy Casino Resorts Reno.

An all-new William Hill Race & Sports Book facility will be launched at Silver Legacy after the necessary regulatory approvals are received. The said facility will spread over 7,200 square feet and will offer gambling customers a sports bar, innovative video wall technology for broadcasting sporting events, and the option for live in-play betting.

Following the signing of the long-term agreement, Circus Circus Reno will, too, see its sportsbook offering considerably upgraded. Big screen TVs and a sports bar will be among the new features to be added at the gambling venue as part of the William Hill deal.

Combined, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy feature more than 220,000 square feet of gambling offering. The two venues provide visitors with live poker, racing and sportsbook options. Since taking full control over the two properties, Eldorado Resorts has been investing millions of dollars in their renovation and improvement.

William Hill debuted in the Nevada gambling market in 2012. The major gaming and betting operator has since then managed the sportsbook and racing offering at Eldorado Resort Casino, located not far from the above-mentioned two gambling venues.

Commenting on William Hill’s latest major deal, Joe Asher, CEO of the company’s US operations, noted that that they are extremely happy with the opportunity to expand their existing relations with Eldorado Resorts and to provide its sports betting product offering to three of the largest Downtown Reno gambling venues.

Gary Carano, CEO and Chairman of Eldorado Resorts, commented that being Nevada’s premium sports betting operator, they are excited to be working with William Hill on the upgrade of two of their properties and to provide bettors with expanded gambling options.

Mr. Carano further noted that racing and sportsbook options are extremely important to the experience their resorts offer and that the upgraded offering would certainly help the gambling operator attract a larger number of visitors and would bring more excitement at their Downtown Reno venues.
