Greek developer and supplier of virtual and live sports content as well as other products for the international gambling industry Vermantia announced that it has partnered with INTRALOT Minas Gerais, or INTRALOT’s Brazilian subsidiary. The latest partnership gives Vermantia the chance to provide its virtual sports offering in the rapidly growing Brazilian gaming market.
INTRALOT Minas Gerais is known to be the technology provider and operator of Loteria Mineira. Under the terms of the agreement, the latter will be allowed access to Vermantia’s CONNECT gaming platform and therefore to more than 14 virtual gaming titles. The gaming options will be delivered across the state-owned lottery’s retail property network.
High quality virtual sports developed by Vermantia itself as well as by its partners VSOFT and Kiron Interactive will gradually become available across the said network of more than 400 betting shops. The initial launch includes VSOFT’s Virtual Football and FLUID GAMES’ Virtual Motor Racing Max Car.
On the latest announcement, INTRALOT Minas Gerais Chairman Sergio Alvarenga commented that they are really excited to be partnering with Vermantia and to provide the latter’s suite of virtual gaming offering. Mr. Alvarenga further noted that they looked to open the virtual sports sector and wanted to do this by opting for the best available content.
The official expressed confidence that the launch of the Vermantia products would enhance the gaming experience offered to Brazilian players and that it would build the foundation for substantial revenue growth.
Vermantia CEO Filippos Antonopoulos said that his company entering the Brazilian gaming market is indicative enough of its continuous expansion efforts and of its growth over the past two years. The executive also pointed out that they are really excited for their virtual games going live in a retail market that annually generates millions in revenue.
As Mr. Antonopoulos pointed out, several games have already gone live in selected Loteria Mineira shops and have already demonstrated more than impressive results. This is why the official said he believes the full roll-out across all 400 points of sales will prove to be a profitable endeavor that will help Vermantia further expand its global reach in the provision off omni-channel virtual sports offering.
