Canadian gambling company Amaya Inc. announced on Wednesday that BetStars, its latest online gambling brand, has gone live in Italy. A beta version of the sports betting website is now available to Italian gambling customers in their web browser and in Amaya’s desktop casino and poker software.
At present, the Italian beta version of BetStars provides bettors with the opportunity to wager on six different sports, with those being among the most popular ones globally. More sports are to be introduced in the months to come.
Amaya has pointed out that in future, players will be provided with more betting options, a wider range of sports betting markets, and diversity of in-play betting features that are known to be highly favored by customers from around the world and that every self-respected sportsbook is expected to offer.
Here it is also important to note that Italian customers are also offered unified gambling experience between poker, casino, and sports betting, and a single wallet for all of the aforementioned gambling options.
Commenting on the recent launch, Amaya Vice President of Corporate Communications Eric Hollreiser said that there is “a huge crossover” between poker and sports betting customers and BetStars is a secure, safe, and convenient way for wagering on a number of sports. Of their Italian customers, Mr. Hollreiser said that betting on their favorite sports enhances their love for the game as they have the chance to test their strategy, wits, and judgment.
BetStars is the latest gambling product to be launched by Amaya and its subsidiary the Rational Group. The brand went live early in 2016 and has started gathering popularity at once. Generally speaking, it features a wide number of popular betting options, diverse promotions, and exclusive new features.
What is more, as mentioned above, BetStars gives players the chance to quickly switch from sports betting to poker experience and vice versa. A single wallet between the two services is also included in the unified gambling experience offered. Similarly to the rest of the Rational Group’s products, BetStars is available across multiple channels, including desktop and mobile.
