News

Mere hours ago, the popular provider of online gambling solutions Mr Green, announced that the sports betting section will be launched ahead of the start of Euro 2016. The sportsbook is to be powered by Kambi and it will be available through MrGreen.com. The latter used to provide solely casino games, but now the product range is going to be diversified.

Mr Green representatives did not disclose information about the date when the new product will be available to sports fans. However, they revealed that sportsbook integration was among their top priorities and remained hopeful it would be active before the start of Euro 2016 on Friday.

Per Norman, Mr Green CEO, commented on the upcoming release and said the sportsbook was tailored to meet the increasing demand for online sports betting options.

He did not miss to mention that the prompt establishment of the sportsbook was achieved in collaboration with Kambi and said that the quality of the finished product was as high as the quality of the available casino products. In conclusion, Mr. Norman said he was happy that the sportsbook would be launched right before the start of the long-awaited Euro 2016 competition.

Kambi’s CEO, Kristian Nylén expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the sportsbook product and its upcoming launch, which will take place ahead of schedule. He added that the release of the sportsbook coincides with the start of Euro 2016, which would be beneficial to both Mr Green and the customers, who would be provided with personalized sports betting experience.

According to the agreement between Mr Green and Kambi, the sportsbook was to be introduced to sports betting fans in the fall of 2016. In previous announcements, Kambi’s CEO shared that Mr Green was already a well-positioned provider in many countries and the addition of the sportsbook was yet another factor for boosting its popularity and attracting customers who enjoy high quality sports betting products.

Mr Green has chosen Kambi for its sports betting platform, because of the in-play features the latter was enabled to ensure.

The launch of Mr Green’s add-on sportsbook follows the example of other three prominent casino operators that have recently enabled their customers to take advantage of sports betting options. Leo Vegas, Gamesys and Cherry have already launched their sportsbooks. As for Cherry, preliminary reports show that the number of customers visiting the site has increased between 30% and 40% since the launch of the sportsbook, powered by SBTech.
