NMi to Attend Canadian Gaming Summit from June 13-15

Independent testing laboratory NMi, known to be serving the needs of the international gambling industry, announced today that it will be attending the Canadian Gaming Summit from June 13-15. One of Canada’s biggest gambling-focused conferences is set to take place at the Ottawa Convention Centre and will once again gather together specialists from all gaming sectors to discuss the future of the country’s industry.

NMi’s appearance at the Canadian Gaming Summit comes after the testing and auditing firm was among the exhibitors at the iGaming Super Show 2016 in Amsterdam.

Earlier this year, NMi became the first laboratory of its kind to be approved to operate within Romania’s borders. The company said that despite the constantly and rapidly growing demand for certification services around Europe, Canada has remained a key target market.

Commenting on NMi’s appearance at the Canadian Gaming Summit, Andrew Rosewarne, Director of Gaming at the firm, said in a statement from earlier today that they are really happy to be attending the important event once again. Mr. Rosewarne further noted that since starting to work with Loto-Québec and the British Columbia Lottery
Corporation back in 2013, they have witnessed Canada’s growth as an important market for suppliers to the lotteries across the country’s provinces.

The official also pointed to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario accepting independent labs testing since earlier this year as another milestone, one that has resulted in demand growing even stronger and reaching unprecedented levels.

Last but not least, Mr. Rosewarne encouraged NMi customers to ask about information on how the company leverages past testing experience into Canadian approvals.

NMi Operations Manager (Canada) Ali Heydary said that the growth of the company’s Vancouver-based team is yet another indication of its commitment to the Canadian gaming market. The official further noted that they have been working with local regulators and Canada-facing operators closer than ever and that they have been serving the market with the same quality they have been known in Europe for the past 4 decades.

As mentioned above, NMi has 40 years of experience and the company’s services include testing of VLT, online gaming, mobile, live dealer, social gaming and other related products, casino auditing, security auditing, RTP monitoring, and many more.
