BetConstruct Receives Combined Remote Operating License in UK

News

Provider of solutions for the online gambling industry BetConstruct has been granted a license by the UK Gambling Commission, the company announced today. After receiving a Gambling Software Operating License by the country’s gaming regulator last spring, BetConstruct was now awarded a Combined Remote Operating License.

Apart from being licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, the software developer also holds a Category 2 license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, and Class 2 and Class 4 licenses by the Malta Gaming Authority and can provide clients with the necessary assistance to be allowed to operate in different regulated jurisdictions.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Vahe Baloulian, CEO of the iGaming solutions provider, said that the Combined Remote Operating License makes it possible for the company to extend its reach in an online gaming and sports betting market it considers particularly important.

The executive pointed out that although the regulated UK gambling market is mature and saturated, they are confident that BetConstruct and its unique offering can turn into the innovator that gambling operators providing their services within the UK’s borders are looking for.

Here it is important to note that BetConstruct is actually headquartered in the country and given this, it has been able to study the local market. Mr. Baloulian noted that they are looking forward to being able to challenge the UK market with the latest products the company has developed over the past several years.

It was last April when BetConstruct was granted a Gambling Software Operating License by the UK gambling regulator for its sportsbook product offering. The online gaming and sports betting provider had applied for a license by the UK Gambling Commission after changes in the local regulations had been implemented, requiring all suppliers of content for the UK market to be awarded licenses by the regulatory body.

Last week, BetConstruct signed an agreement with sports betting brand Fonbet, under the terms of which the provider would supply its Live Scouting Data Service to its latest client. Live data will be provided by BetConstruct’s partner Megafeed. The deal is aimed at improving Fonbet’s both pre-match and in-play sports betting options and to attract the attention of a wider customer base.
