The first week of July will feature plenty of poker-related events and despite the fact that the WSOP is currently taking place in Las Vegas, there will be numerous other exciting poker destinations where a player would want to be. The following few paragraphs offer more details about the tournaments slated to kick off in the week between July 4-10.
2016 Florida State Poker Championship
Isle Casino in Pompano Beach, Florida will be hosting the festival from July 5 through July 25. Its schedule will include fourteen events, with those being No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha 8/OB Hi/Lo ones. All of the tournaments will feature guaranteed prize pools of between $5,000 and $500,000.
The $1,500 Main Event is slated to take place from July 21-25 and will offer entries the opportunity to win their share of the guaranteed half-a-million-dollar prize pool.
2016 HPT Colorado
The Heartland Poker Tour is next traveling to Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado for a twelve-day poker festival, running from July 7-18. Players from the region and the rest of the nation, of course, will be given the chance to enter six different No-Limit Hold’em events, with one of those being a Seniors tournament. Four of the events will be single-day ones and will feature buy-ins of $200. The opening tournament will be a four-day one with a buy-in fee of $300.
The six-day $1,000 Main Event is to kick off on July 13 and will run through July 18. It will feature four starting flights and two more days of play.
Aria Super High Roller X
The tenth Aria Super High Roller is set to take place on July 7 at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. In order to be able to enter the single-day tournament, interested players will have to pay a buy-in fee of $50,000.
2016 Four Corners Championship
Casino Sandia in Albuquerque, New Mexico will welcome players for the Four Corners Championship, which is to be one of the longest festivals this summer, running from July 9 through September 5. A tournament is set to take place once every two weeks. With that said, there will be a total of five No-Limit Hold’em events to be held within the poker festival. Four of them will be two-day ones and the last, the $600 Main Event, will be a three-day one. It is scheduled to begin on September 3.
2016 MSPT Milwaukee
Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be the next stop on the schedule of this season’s Mid-States Poker Tour. The gambling venue will play host to the popular American tour from July 9 to July 17.
The poker festival will feature several poker satellites for the Main Event and the actual $350 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000.
