MGM Resorts Launches Mobile Tournaments across Nine Properties

Major gambling operator MGM Resorts International has partnered with mobile gaming technology company oneLIVE inc. to jointly develop and launch the easyPLAY Mobile Tournaments platform. The product, now live, has become the first one to be offering digital and interactive tournaments at regulated casinos in the United States.

The said platform allows gambling customers of nine emblematic Las Vegas casino resorts to compete with other players at the same venues in a number of tournaments. Customers will be able to play while they are at the pool, in their rooms, or anywhere within the complexes.

Anyone aged 21 or over would be able to take part in the easyPLAY tournaments, thus getting the chance to win thousands of dollars and different other prizes. Tournaments will be taking place on a regular basis and will feature traditional casino games, such as slots, video poker, and bingo, as well as various other casual and console games.

Of the latest announcement, MGM Resorts International Senior Vice President of Business Development Tom Mikulich said that the launch of the easyPLAY Mobile Tournaments platform provides guests at the above-mentioned nine resorts with an exciting new opportunity to play their favorite casino games against other players while enjoying their stay in Las Vegas.

oneLIVE inc. President and CEO Michael Jabara commented that MGM Resorts has long been among the leaders in the provision of creative and innovative experience to guests. The official further noted that with their easyPLAY Interactive Tournament platform, visitors at the nine resorts will be able to take part in fantastic tournaments, something they have not been able to do before.

As the Nevada gambling laws require, the easyLIVE Mobile Tournaments platform was given the nod by the Nevada Gaming Control Board prior to being launched. MGM Resorts also pointed out that guests at the nine resorts must be US residents in order to be able to take part in the tournaments and contests featured by the newly introduced solution.
