Although German poker pro Fedor Holz said that we will be seeing less of him on the poker circuit in future, it was confirmed that the player will headline the upcoming Celebrity Cash Kings event, set to take place at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
The high stakes cash game will be hosted by what is known to be Europe’s largest poker room from August 15-17 as part of the Bavaria Cup poker festival. According to the original plan, Celebrity Cash Kings will be a No-Limit Hold’em event with initial €50/€100 blinds. However, organizers have pointed out that if players agree, the format can be changed to Pot-Limit Omaha and blinds can be increased eventually.
Fans of the game who would want to follow up how the action unfolds will be able to do so no matter where they are home or on the go via the livestream set particularly for the event.
Holz will be joining the likes of Dan Cates, Tobias Reinkemeier, Rob Yong, known to be the owner of the Dusk till Dawn Poker Club, and Sam Trickett.
Holz has been making the poker headlines quite often over the past several months as the player has won a number of high roller tournaments, including the WSOP $111,111 High Roller for ONE DROP. The German’s winning spree started late last year, when he topped the field of the $100,000 WPT Alpha8 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, played at The Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Soon after, he took down the inaugural edition of the WPT National Philippines $200,000 Triton Super High Roller event. Holz has also emerged victorious in several Aria High Roller and Super High Roller tournaments over the past several months.
His winning streak resulted in more than $14 million collected over the span of just a little more than six months. Holz’s live tournament winnings currently amount to almost $18.5 million and the player is ranking 9th in the All-Time Money List.
Although the player surprisingly announced that he will be playing less poker in future right after winning his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet this summer, his feats on the circuit will certainly be long talked about.
