Kambi to Supply Sportsbook to R. Franco

B2B supplier of sports betting solutions Kambi Group plc announced that it has partnered with Spanish provider of products for the gambling industry Recreativos Franco Group (R. Franco). Under the terms of their agreement, Kambi would supply the Spanish gambling group with its sports betting offering and would become its global omni-channel sportsbook partner.

The partnership will see Kambi’s omni-channel product servicing R.Franco and supporting the latter’s retail expansion across Spain. The Stockholm-listed supplier will also have an instrumental role in the Spanish gambling provider’s expansion in Latin America.

Commenting on Kambi’s latest strategic partnership, CEO Kristian Nylén said that with R. Franco being one of the “founding fathers” of the Spanish land-based gambling industry and one of the most trusted brands in the industry, they are delighted with the opportunity to be working with the supplier.

Mr. Nylén further noted that R. Franco’s ambitions for expansion in Spain and Latin America match Kambi’s own plans for that particular markets and that the Spanish company is an excellent addition to their existing client portfolio.

R. Franco is currently holding a 40% share in Spain’s AWP market. The company has also recently expanded its offering by announcing significant investment in omni-channel content distribution. The gambling brand introduced its product and services to the Spanish online gambling market as well by launching the Wanabet brand. Generally speaking, the company distributes technology solutions and related products to all sectors of the Spanish gambling industry, including arcades, casinos, online brands, and bingo halls.

Pedro Melendo, CEO of R. Franco, commented that the partnership with Kambi has completed his company’s content portfolio on its brand-new omni-channel gaming solution. With that said, R. Franco is now in possession of a full B2B2C gaming solution and a team of experienced professionals to secure the best possible service, the executive added.

Kambi supplies sports betting services on its own software platform to international gambling operators. Its present coverage includes over 165,000 live sports betting events and 300,000 pre-match ones per year. Bettors can place their bets on 65 different sports, with events taking place all over the world.
