Bookmakers Technology Consortium was established in 2008 as a non-profit-making company aimed at assisting independent gaming and sports betting operators in the integration and operation of new technology. The UK-based company partners and works with the said gambling operators on beneficial commercial terms.
Wilf Gilbert, Jenningsbet, and Chisholm Bookmakers have become the first betting shops to have launched Inspired Gaming’s Virtual Sports products. More gambling facilities are to go live with the innovative gambling options in the months to come and after the necessary deployments are completed.
The gambling content provider said in a statement from earlier today that its Virtuals content will be streamed across two channels. The first channel will feature various mixed events, with those being Greyhound, Horse, Cycling, and Motor Racing ones. The other channel will stream bingo content.
Of the latest clients to pick Inspired Gaming’s Virtual Sports offering, Steve Rogers, COO at the leading supplier, said that they are delighted to be adding Bookmakers Technology Consortium to their growing list of distinguished clients. The official expressed hopes that their content will prove to be quite popular among players of their new partner’s operators.
Howard Chisholm, Director at Bookmakers Technology Consortium, said that the deal is a great opportunity for his company to provide its bookmakers with “fantastic content” that will most certainly be found quite appealing by punters. Mr. Chisholm added that Virtual Sports are widely requested by bettors and that they are delighted to be offering the best such offering in the business through their partnership with Inspired Gaming and to thus expand their portfolio of gambling-related services delivered to independent bookmakers around the UK.
Over the past several years, Inspired Gaming’s Virtuals content has grown immensely in popularity. Most recently, the provider renewed its existing contract with UK fixed-odds betting operator 49’s. It is interesting to note that the company was in fact the first one to deploy Inspired Gaming’s Virtual Sports. It first went live with the Virtuals products in 2001 and has since then been servicing around 10,000 UK-based LBOs.
