News

International provider of online slot games StakeLogic has partnered Stockholm-listed and Malta-headquartered gambling operator Betsson to supply the latter with its catalog of 3D HTML5 titles. StakeLogic is known to be the slot development studio of international industry supplier Greentube.

Titles like Classic2000 and Random2Wins will be included in the initial rollout. More slot games are to be launched with Betsson in the weeks to come.

Andy Broughton Braithwaite, Director of Games of Chance at the major gambling operator, commented on the recently inked partnership agreement, saying that they are really happy to work with StakeLogic and that their collaboration will bring great results. The official further noted that StakeLogic’s existing catalog of product offering together with the studio’s ability to develop bespoke online casino content is proof enough that its products will probably appeal to all their players and markets they operate in.

Ruben Visse, CEO of StakeLogic, added that teaming up with the Swedish gambling group and the opportunity to provide its gambling customers with their products is an exciting development for the gaming studio.

Earlier this year, StakeLogic signed a similar partnership agreement with another major online gambling operator. The slot developer agreed to provide Unibet and its brands with a selection of its 3D HTML5 casino titles.

Founded as Greentube’s interactive arm, StakeLogic has been specializing in the creation and subsequent licensing of 3D slot games for the international online gambling industry, with those being available across both desktop and mobile.

In addition to this, the company was recently granted a Class 4 Gaming License by the Malta Gaming Authority, which authorizes it to license software to third-party clients.

Headquartered in Malta, Betsson also has offices in Stockholm, London, Tallinn, and Tbilisi. The gambling operator recently posted its financial results for the second quarter of the year. Revenue totaled SEK935.4 million, reflecting a 9% increase as compared to the figure reported for the same three months of the previous year.

Casino remained the company’s core business with quarterly revenue of SEK683.2 million, up 11% year-on-year. Sports betting reported an 8% rise in revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2016 to SEK223 million. Mobile continued growing over the reviewed period. Revenue from the segment accounted for 41% of the overall group figure posted, and totaled SEK383.1 million. It increased 34% from the same three months of 2015.
